CEROG, Study and Research Center for Organisations and Management, is one of the oldest management research centres in France. It was founded at the IAE Aix, out of the official desire in the 1970's to develop applied research in the young science that management was at the time. Today, CEROG still serves the development and stimulation of research in finance, human resources management, marketing, strategy, and information systems.

Beyond the participation of its members in conferences and seminars, CEROG publishes numerous research papers (research publications, books, articles) every year in France and abroad. These works are also published in the CEROG Cahiers de Recherche (Research Notebooks). These notebooks, set up at the same time as CEROG, are the product of more than 20 years of research at IAE Aix-en-Provence, with more than 800 issues. They are the work of IAE Aix Faculty and of CEROG Doctorate Students, and cover all fields of management as well as other related subjects (educational methods, ethics, etc.). Another CEROG publication is the Lettre du CEROG. This newsletter reports twice a year on the centre's activity. It is available upon request.

CEROG also organises several conferences, notably the annual International Research Seminar in Marketing, which has been held since 1984. This conference is broken down into two conferences which take place every other year: the International Research Seminar on Marketing Communications and Consumer Behavior, and the International Research Seminar on Service Management.
