By Roads
Coming from Lyon and Paris, using the Motorway - A7
- Use the "Aix-Ouest" motorway exit,
- Head for "Aix Centre" (downtown Aix),
- Cross the big roundabout and take the long avenue,
- Pass the traffic light and the footbridge crossing the avenue,
- Take a left turn on the highway and head for "Avignon" (Route Nationale N 296a)
- After the fire station on the right, take a right turn heading for "Gap / Digne les Bains / Pertuis / Puyricard" (Route Nationale des Alpes - N 296).
- At the top of the bypass, take the "Puyricard" exit and follow the signs to the village (Route Départementale D 14).
Using the N7 Highway
- Head for Aix-en-Provence on Route Nationale N7.
- 9 km beyond Saint-Cannat, at the place called "La Petite Calade", turn left and take the Route Départementale D 63 to Puyricard.
Coming from Marseille using the North Motorway - A51
- Take the motorway to Aix-en-Provence.
- Keep heading toward Avignon (do not use Aix-en-Provence exits), the motorway becomes the Route Nationale N 296a.
- After the fire station on the right, take a right turn heading for "Gap / Digne les Bains / Pertuis / Puyricard" (Route Nationale des Alpes - N 296).
- At the top of the bypass, take the "Puyricard" exit and follow the signs to the village (Route Départementale D 14).
Coming from Nice on the A8 Motorway
- Exit the A8 motorway and head for Sisteron (Aix-Ouest exit).
- Keep heading toward Avignon (do not use Aix-en-Provence exits), the motorway becomes Route Nationale N 296a.
- After the fire station on the right, take a right turn heading for "Gap / Digne les Bains / Pertuis / Puyricard" (Route Nationale des Alpes - N 296).
- At the top of the bypass, take the "Puyricard" exit and follow the signs to the village (Route Départementale D 14).
Coming from the Alps through Sisteron/Gap
- Take Route Nationale N 96 toward Aix-en-Provence.
- Turn right after Venelles (before the grade crossing) toward Eguilles (N 63), and stay on this road until Puyricard.
OR
- Take the A 51 motorway toward Aix-en-Provence until it leads to Route National N 296.
- Take the "Puyricard" exit and follow the signs to the village (Route Départementale D 14).
By Plane
The Marseille-Provence International Airport is located 45 mns from the IAE Aix. It is the third largest airport in France for passenger traffic and the second largest for air cargo.

Once at the airport, you can take a Taxi or the Marignane / Aix Bus, then the Aix / Puyricard Bus.
By Bus
To get to IAE Aix by bus, take line 20, 21, or 24. The line 20 bus will drop you off at the “Salle des Fêtes” stop in Puyricard. IAE Aix is about 500 metres from there. The line 21 bus will drop you off at the “Logis des Clercs”. Stop about 100 metres from the IAE Aix entrance.
Because of public roads works, the line 21 won't stop at the “Logis des Clercs”. You will have to get off the bus, at the "Salle des Fêtes".
Then, you will have to follow the "Boulevard des Camus" where you will find to your right a pedestrian entrance to the IAE.
The monthly bus ticket costs 22 €. A set of 10 tickets costs 7.30 €, and a single costs 1.10 € and can be bought from the bus driver.

By Train
Since June 2001 the trip between Lyon and "Aix-en-Provence TGV" railway stations takes about 1 hour and the trip between "Paris Gare de Lyon" and "Aix-en-Provence TGV" takes less than 3 hours.
The "Marseille Saint-Charles" railway station can be reached from major French cities by classic and High Speed Train (TGV: Train à Grande Vitesse). The trip from Paris takes about 3 hours and 10 minutes. You might find schedule and reservation information on the SNCF web site. Once in Aix-en-Provence, you might use either bus or a taxi to reach the IAE Aix.
The trip between the "Marseille Saint-Charles" and "Aix-en-Provence" railway stations lasts about 35 minutes.
