MSc in Management, Specialization in Management & Marketing of Service Activities
2011/2012
Internship in Brazil 2011/2012
Currently enrolled in MSc Management and Marketing of Service Activities
« It is within the framework of the Masters of Science in Management at the IAE Aix Graduate School of Management, that I had the opportunity to take part in a three-month internship in Brazil.
In order to be placed in this internship, I followed several steps. I sent an unsolicited application to UBIFRANCE, which is a network dedicated to supporting French companies in exportation as well as establishing overseas markets. Then I went to the French-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce to obtain an exhaustive list of French companies in Brazil, to which I sent unsolicited applications.
The most common hiring method in Brazil is based on group dynamics. It consists of gathering the applicants around a table, and testing their behavioral and managerial capacities.
I was interviewed within several companies, and each time the main difficulty was requesting such a short, three-month internship. Through discussions with the head of Human Resources of a Brazilian company, I was finally granted a three-month internship, with the possibility to extend my contract.
My training at the IAE Aix Graduate School of Management made me well prepared for job interviews and also gave me the means to evaluate and promote my skills. Furthermore, during the group dynamics in which I participated in Portuguese, my mastery in fields related to management and my ease in oral communication worked in my favor. »

International Business
2009/2010
Project manager at Enomatic East &Southeast, Atlanta, USA
« The IAE Aix Graduate School of Management was a springboard for me because I completed my two-year master’s degree there and it was during the second year of my studies of Management in International Business that I had the opportunity to perform two internships in United States.
The first internship of 3 months was a buyer's internship in a construction company and my second internship at ENOMATIC as project manager resulted in a permanent contract, as I currently handle all of the East coast and the Bahamas.
The IAE Aix was always involved in advising and encouraging me in my choices, as was my Director of specialization project who supervised me during my entire second year of studies, as also was the Corporate & Career Services Centre which led me to have an interview that helped me choose my internship. As a way to participate in the international scope of the IAE, every year Enomatic proposes two one-year internships. »

Internship in New York, USA
«The IAE Aix Graduate School of Management was a springboard for me, because it allowed me to find an internship in New York in marketing and fashion. I found this internship via the Platform of the Career Services Centre, in the list of previous internships of IAE Aix students.
I sent an unsollicited application and I was accepted. Administrative procedures for the USA are rather long and it is better to start as early as possible (visa, signature of the Internship Agreement, accommodation). An internship abroad brings a double experience: the professional experience in a company as well as the experience of life in a different country, with a different culture, and
another language. This also corresponds to one of the major advantages of the IAE Aix which is the internationalization with courses and conferences in English.
I am pursuing my international project at IAE Aix in 2010/2011 in Management of International Business”
Anaïs GIMET-MIALHE
Graduate in Management & Marketing of Service Activities and International Management
2008/2009
Responsible for French Market Sales, EF/Englishtown, London UK
« After successfully completing a degree in Management and Marketing of Service Activities, I wished to start my professional life abroad. Thanks to the International Management Degree, I was able to go on a 6 months Erasmus exchange in Maastricht followed by a 6 months internship in London, UK. This
diploma offers a double experience which combining a university exchange and international work experience.
I had the opportunity to start an internship at EF - Education First - as sales and educational advisor. This IMD internship clearly added value to my international career and provided a tremendous experience in a multicultural, dynamic and booming environment.
Today I manage a team of 4 as the person in charge of French market sales, working in London with our European team. This opening to international business is a real asset and I sincerely recommend it! »

VIA in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
« After completing my studies in International Politics, I wanted to add real value to my profile by a top ranking diploma in International Business. Since my initial training seemed too theoretical, the IAE AIX Graduate School of Management seemed an excellent opportunity to acquire all the practical and concrete knowledge to be truly operational in the business world.
The course work and the activities of the Corporate & Career Services Centre allowed me to develop my hard and soft skills and to meet the recruiters’ expectations during interviews. The career workshops and corporate Forum were all an excellent preparation for entering the business world.
After an internship in International Strategy at COFACE France, I was recruited for a 2 year VIA (International Contact sponsored by the French Government) as Economic Attaché at the French Embassy in Saudi Arabia. My assignments will concentrate on economic and geopolitical questions in the Middle East. I applied via the on-line services of CIVIWEB-UBIFRANCE, an IAE Aix Corporate
& Career Services Centre’s partner. The recruiters particularly appreciated the close links between my programme at the IAE Aix and the International Trade Board and especially the course work taught in their certificate.
Since I will be working closely with Ubifrance, now responsible for all international support for French Business, and a close partner of our Corporate & Career Services Centre, I hope there will be an opening for me at the end of my 2 year contract. »

VIE Kiabi Milano Italia
APEX International Award holder 2008
« At the end of my first year at the IAE Aix, I completed an internship of three months in Italy with KIABI, specialized in low cost clothes. I had found the offer on the Kapstages.com website and I obtained the assignment after two telephone interviews.
The internship went well and I successfully participated in the 2008 International Challenge organised by APEX – a partner of the Corporate & Career Services Centre – to recompense the most successful international student assignments. On returning to the IAE Aix, I continued with a 2nd year in Management of International Business, where I acquired more international skills as well as more "European" know-how.
After graduation, I wished to return to Italy and had already contacted the official French Economic Delegations Italy and sent them my CV underlining my wish to return to Italy, given my strong international focus. This brought me back into contact with KIABI who proposed me V.I.E contract in Milan.
I began my V.I.E assignment in September 2009 and it lasted until September 2010. It was an enriching experience which has taught me to take on real responsibilities within a Franco-Italian environment. I’ve just found a new job as an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Société Générale’s group in Milan. »
