IAE Aix-en-Provence Graduate School of Management offers participants two very different study abroad options through its selective academic partner network throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Pacific.
During the first year of Master's
As soon as they are selected, the first year year Master's students choose a partner university from IAE Aix's International Academic Network. These institutions have been selected for the quality of their faculty, the management courses they offer and their international activities. These institutions propose a wide range of management courses in English as well as in their native tongue, so it's not mandatory to speak the language of the host country. Students go abroad for at least three months between January and June, depending on the host university's academic calendar. Students choose their courses with the aid of their Director and Administrative Coordinator, according to their previous academic record and their plans for specialisation in the second year of their IAE Master's.
First year Master's students are enrolled at IAE Aix and therefore do not pay any tuition to the host university. No host university degrees or diplomas are given, simply a transcript showing course and grades.
In addition to validating these courses, first year students have to write an interim and final report with an oral defence of their period abroad, including an analysis of the intercultural differences.
DIM - International Management Diploma
Upon completion of their Master’s or in replacement of their MBA thesis, IAE Aix participants can apply for an innovative University Diploma called DIM (International Management Diploma). This programme is open exclusively to IAE Aix participants.
After having completed their Master Degree, they will complete one semester of studies in a partner university and will carry out an internship abroad.
The internship will not be required for IAE Aix MBA participants; it will be replaced by an extension of their Consulting or Business Project.
