The students at IAE Aix-en-Provence benefit from a level of service rarely encountered in a public university setting in terms of teaching, infrastructures and administration.

International Affairs

IAE Aix-en-Provence is an active member of several European and International networks such as EFMD, EDAMBA, EIASM, ITP and CARNET, a network of career centre professionals, representing 12 accredited European universities. CARNET is the realisation of positive relations with foreign universities, and serve as the base of more global relations in term of exchanges (teachers, students, administrative staff) and of partnerships with international accredited EQUIS universities.

International Students Office

The IAE Aix International Students Office offers specific assistance to foreign students. Services include:

o Pre-enrolment information on programmes and admission requirements
o Application for a French Ministry of Foreign Affairs grant (e.g., Eiffel Grant)
o Provision of all the necessary documents for visa applications.
o Reservation of accommodation in a student residence (room availability is limited, applications must be filed very early).
o Assistance in obtaining a Residency Permit.
o Assistance of an individual Student Tutor for everyday life (opening a bank account, local transportation tips, finding the shops, etc.) as well as for academic life (library, contact with professors, etc.).
o Optional French language courses and unlimited use of the language laboratory.
o Special assistance for company internship/placement "hunting".

The Career Services Centre provides employment seminars designed to advise participants, provide useful information and practical experience through mock interviews and workshops. Campus events include direct company-student contact through Employment Days and Job-Search Strategy workshops and Corporate Forums. 

Our on-campus Business Start-up Incubator - provides programme participants who wish to start-up their own business with the high-level technologies and tools necessary to do so. Expert advice as well as a privileged access to venture capital are given to support selected business projects.

Alumni Association

A wide network of IAE Aix alumni is spread throughout France as well as overseas, and the 20 000 member alumni association (AAIAE) is very active in promoting the image of the school in the country and throughout the world.

Documentation Centre

Our documentation centre is home to over 200 periodicals in English and French, as well as bibliographical files, Working Papers from IAE Aix-en-Provence and other institutions, and annual reports of French and foreign companies.  Periodicals are available to students and faculty, and general and specialised dictionaries and statistical documents are complimented by access to numerous databases, including a UMI database. Documentation, CD-ROMs, audio and video tapes can be used in the computing lab.
