Luis Filipe LAGES (Portugal), (Ph.D., Warwick) is currently Lecturer of Marketing and International Business at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Faculdade de Economia, Portugal. Previously, he held Visiting positions in the USA (Stanford University and MIT-Sloan School of Management), United Kingdom (London Business School and Warwick Business School), Belgium (Solvay Business School) and France (IAE).

Luis Filipe has consultancy experience in both business and governmental forums.  His research has received the recognition and support of several funding bodies (e.g. European Union, CIBER-USA, Portuguese National Science Foundation, Gulbenkian, PRODEP). He was also nominated as an 'expert of international standing' by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and assessor for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

Finance

Eric CAUVIN (France) is a Professor of Accounting at EDHEC Graduate School of Business. He holds a PhD from the IAE Aix en Provence. He had a position of Visiting Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver during 2005. He conducts active research in Management Accounting, which has been published in leading academic and practitioner journals. He has co-authored a textbook on topics related to Cost Accounting and Strategic Cost Management.

Delphine CHAZALON (France)  is teaching accounting, cost accounting and management control in Masters in general management and administration.

She organizes apprenticeship in IAE and is responsible for Master in general management in apprenticeship.

Alain GED (France) is the Dean of the IAE. He also runs the Executive Programmes and the Finance/Accounting Department. He holds a Ph.D in strategy and Finance. His present research activities focus mainly on Corporate Finance Strategies, firm’s valuation & venture intermediation. He participates to different consulting in industrial firms and has experience launching new Businesses in Europe and North America.

Jacques ISETTA (France) Is a full time faculty member at the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises d'Aix en Provence, Université Paul CEZANNE.

His education background is in economics: He received a  Doctorat es Sciences Economiques ( Ph D in Economics) in 1977 from the University of Aix en Provence. Previously he graduated in Business Administration from the University of Nice where he received an MBA and obtained a DMA from the University of Texas at Austin. Out of interest he also graduated with a master of History of Law in Middle age.

He teaches Finance, with two major area of concentration: Cash management in uncertain environment and Quantitative Market Finance. He lectures  courses in different Public Institutions (Master in Business and European Law, Master in Air transport )

In addition, he has been involved in many International and foreign training programs.

He used to work for large companies on internal programs and business simulations, and consult in problems of Cash Management and banking relationships for Medium size businesses.

Presently, he is The Chairman of the Academic council of the EUROMBA , an executive  distance learning program .On the lighter side he is partial to  " Pasta al dente" and the sound  of the Alfa Romeo Engines...

Jean-Sébastien LANTZ (France) Ph.D. in Finance (University Paul Cézanne) teaches at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris. Specializing in Technology Media and Telecommunication finance, his research focuses on venture-capital, IPO’s and valuation of TMT stocks in partnership with Euronext. Member of the committee selection of Capital-IT and founding member of the New Economy committee of the French Sénat, J.S.. Lantz also coordinates the “Socio-Economic Trends Assessment for the Digital Revolution” a European Commission programme.

Marian POWERS (USA), Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana. She has served on the accounting faculty of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Since 1987, she has been an adjunct professor of accounting at the Allen Center for Executive Education at Northwestern University specializing in teaching financial reporting and analysis to executives. She is also co-author of several college accounting textbooks and in-depth cases on financial analysis. The Text and Academic Authors Association chose Financial Accounting as recipient of the 1998 Textbook Excellence Award. Her research has been published in The Accounting Review, The International Journal of Accounting, Issues in Accounting Education, The Journal of Accountancy, The Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting, and Financial Management.

Barry SMITH ( GB) holds graduate qualifications in Education and Sociology.

He is an independent consultant with a range of international clients throughout Europe and across most major industries, His 20 years industrial experience covers the Finance, Engineering and Computer industries in a number of HR and management development roles.

He is Associate faculty at Aix, IMD and Oxford.

Olivier TABATONI (France)  is Professor of Finance at IAE Aix-en-Provence, University of Aix-Marseille he  holds a Master degree with Honors in Economics (1972) and a Doctorate in Analysis and Economic Calculus (1978) at the University of Aix-Marseille. He received his Master in Finance (1979) and his Ph.D. in Finance and Quantitative Analysis (1982) from New York University's Stern School of Management.His areas of interest include corporate and financial strategy, risk management and international finance. Professor Tabatoni has been a Visiting Professor at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University in 1995 and at the Haas Business School, University of California, Berkeley in 2003, where he taught finance and financial strategies in the MBA programs. He is regularly teaching in various universities and business schools all over the world and has won awards for excellence in the classroom on numerous occasions. In 2005 he received the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Best Teacher Award.

Didier YON (France)  is professor of accounting and finance. He also runs the Executive Program with Alain GED .  He holds a Ph.D in Finance, a MA in economics, and the Certified Public Accountant diploma. His present research activities focus mainly on financial information and analysis. He participates to the board of IAE and Paul Cezanne University. He is involved in small business launching and financing.

Strategy

Ken BARDACH (USA), has been named Associate Dean and Director of ExecEdge Corporate Education at Washington University’s John M. Olin School of Business.

Bardach formerly Associate dean of Executive Education Programmes at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleland, Ohio, has also served in similar positions at the Kellog Graduate School of Management Northwestern University, Michigan State University, Boston University School of Management. He also taught at New York Universtity’s Graduate Scholl of Business.  He received an MBA from New York University and a Bachelor from Yale University.

C. GOPINATH (India-USA), (Ph.D., University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA) is presently Associate Professor, Management Department, and Director, Undergraduate International Programs, Suffolk University, Boston, USA. Prior to his academic career, he spent over a decade in industry in line and general management positions. His areas of research, teaching, and consulting are in strategy and international business. His articles have appeared in several leading journals. His books include, (with J. Siciliano) ‘Strategize!: Experiential exercises in strategic management’ (Thomson/SouthWestern, 2005), and ‘Managing in a globalized world’ (ICFAI University Press, 2003). Maurice SAIAS (France)  is professor of Strategy at the IAE Aix-en-Provence and at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (USA). Renown as one of the specialists of the Strategy of Multinational Companies and of Change Management, he is consultant for many large companies such as Alcatel, Philips, ABB, Kodak, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell, Allied Signal, Lafarge, Schneider, B.A.T., P.T., Rolls-Royce,...He teaches in many top executive universities, and in-company training programmes in over 20 different countries in America, Europe and Asia. He holds a PhD in Economic Sciences and is Professor "agrégé" of the University.

Economics

Pierre BATTEAU (France) is a professor of Finance and Economics at IAE Aix-en-Provence. His background includes a French degree of "ingénieur INSA" and a US PhD from The Kellogg School of Management. His research interests are focused on corporate finance with an emphasis on the theory and practice of financial contracts. He has supervised about 25 dissertations in the finance area and has been member of more than 100 doctorate juries in market and corporate finance. He has taught in several universities and schools in the US, Canada, Brazil and most European countries. He is involved in several international  academic organisations, in particular as Vice-President of the European Institute for advanced research in Management in Brussels and as President of the European Doctoral Association in Management and Business Administration in Vienna, Austria.

Marc HENRY (France) is Professor of Economy and Finance. He holds a degree in Economics and a PhD in Management; he is a certified research fellow. His current areas of interest are Economic Environment, Public Regulation and European economic issues. Marc’s past experiences include training and advising assignments with financial institutions, cost control for small international trading companies and advising for defaulted SME's. Marc directed various IAE-Aix’s training programmes. He was Project Director and senior lecturer for several programmes of technical assistance launched by the European Commission (Tacis and Tempus programmes).

Change Management and Leadership

Pierre CASSE (Belgium) , Incumbent of the SUEZ Chair of leadership at the Solvay Business School (ULB-Brussels) and Associate Dean and Professor of Organisational Behavior at the IAE, Aix-en-Provence Professor Casse specialises in the areas of managing cultural differences, international negotiations and leadership. He also holds posts in various schools and universities in Belgium, Switzerland, the UK, and the USA. After studying at the University of Liège, postgraduate studies in Public Administration at the USC, and in Business Administration at the University of Lille where he obtained his Doctorate.

Paul CLAUDEL (France) was Director of Human Resources of Alcatel worldwide (a Telecom Equipment company of    130 000 people with a turnover of over $20 billion) from the time when the company was formed in 1987 to the end of 1995. Prior he spent 13 years with ITT where he held various executive positions at the company’s European Headquarters in Brussels, in the Administration and HR functions. Since he left Alcatel, P. Claudel has been operating independently as an international consultant and also is Associate Faculty at the IAE of Aix-en-Provence, and also teaches at other major Universities in Europe and the USA , mainly on the subjects of Human Resources.

François DUPUY (France) Ph.D. in Sociology, he is a sociologist and consultant in organisations sociology.  He is the author of several books

“Le client et la buraeaucratie (Dunod, 1998), l’Alchimie du changement (Dunod 2001) and Sociologie du changement (Dunod 2004). He is Development Director of Mercer Consulting. He teaches in several Business Schools like INSEAD and IAE Aix-en-Provence.

Georg KRAUS (Germany) is Graduate economic engineer, doctorate at the technical college of Karlsruhe with regard to the subject project management. Has completed diverse additional trainings, for example, in change management and organisation development. Since 1987 he has been working as organisation consultant and coach. Since 1994 he has been acting as lecturer at the University Karlsruhe. He supports his clients at integral company developments. From the headquarters Bruchsal the network of currently more than forty experienced consultants and trainers supports companies in areas like, for example, strategy consultation, organisation diagnosis, change management, business process optimisations, project management, out- and in-sourcing as well as top management coaching throughout Europe.

Carolina SERRANO (Spain/Switzerland) is a permanent associate faculty member of IAE Aix-en-Provence. Her teaching domains are change management, intercultural management, leadership, and consulting practice. She is the faculty advisor of the MSc in Corporate Communication and Change Management of IAE Aix-en-Provence. She holds degrees in Philosophy and International Trade from the University of Barcelona (Spain), an MBA and an MPhil from IAE Aix en Provence. Spanish and Swiss, she has worked for 12 years in several companies in international positions, in countries like Spain, Czech Republic, Germany, and France. She is also a certified professional coach and a consultant in organisations.

Robert WEISZ  (France)  is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Organizational Development. Graduated from ESSEC, he also holds a Master in Social Psychology and a PhD in Business Administration; He is a former Dean of IAE of Aix-en-Provence. Currently, he is the Director of the MBA Change & Technology. Besides various teaching and research assignments, he is a consultant in implementation and management of change. His key qualifications are emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, change leadership, negotiation, coaching and team building.

Heike ZSCHOCH (Germany)  is a consultant with Alerion Consult AG, Zug, Switzerland. She holds a Ph.D. in natural sciences and started her professional career as strategic marketing manager at an international chemical-pharmaceutical enterprise in Germany. Since more than 12 years she works as a business consultant focusing on the effectiveness of people in the organization. She combines the natural scientific thinking with a broad business understanding into her consulting approaches.

Information Technologies and Innovation

Walter BAETS (Belgium)  is a distinguished professor in Information, Innovation and Knowledge at Nyenrode University, the Netherlands Business School.  He is director of Notion, the Nyenrode Institute for Knowledge Management and Virtual Education.  He graduated in econometrics and operations research at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and did postgraduate studies in Business Administration at Warwick Business School (UK).  He was awarded a PhD from the University of Warwick in Industrial and Business Studies.  After pursuing a career of more than ten years in business, he held positions in the academic world in Belgium, Russia, the Netherlands and Spain.  He was particularly active in management development both in Russia and in the Arab world.

Jacques-André BARTOLI (France)  is the CIO of The University of Aix –Marseille, Director of the Management & Information Technologies Programme, Co-Director of the MBA Change & Innovation, E-Business Programme, and Director of the IAE-SUN Incubator project at the IAE. With a PhD in Management he also leads research in "Information Systems & Intelligent Organisations" topics such as Modelisation of Complex Systems, Intelligent Organisations and Strategic Information System. Jacques-Andre is member of various programme & reading committees (ECIS, International Conference on Electronic Commerce, and Journal of Information Systems …), consultant in management and IT, formerly director of a Tacis Project in Kyrgyzstan.

Guy CLOUTIER (Canada) International author and publisher of the books “The Power of the Future” and The Golden Rules” and their French versions “Le Pouvoir du Futur” and “Les Règles d’or”, Guy Cloutier is a self-described evolutionary accountant and founder of an international trading house exporting inventions around the world. V. VENUGOPAL (India/The Netherlands)  is currently Professor of Supply Chain Operations and Faculty Research Director at Nyenrode University. He received his M.S in Industrial Management and Ph.D in Operations Management. At Nyenrode, he teaches in MBA, Executive MBA and MSc programs. He has held visiting faculty positions in China, India and other European Business Schools. His teaching/research areas include Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and Modelling Business Decisions. He has published several research papers in reputed International Journals such as European Journal of Operations Research, Journal of Operational Research Society, International Journal of Production Research and Decision Support Systems.
