Is the MBA programme accredited?

Yes, it is EQUIS and AMBA-accredited.

EQUIS: The Institute obtained the European label EQUIS in 1999.  This international strategic audit and European accreditation system is organised by the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) in compliance with international educational standards.  This accreditation places IAE Aix-en-Provence as a centre of excellence on the international market of higher management education institutions. As such, it provides students, companies and all international partners with a clear signal of quality and excellence.

AMBA: In 2004, the IAE Aix MBA Change & Innovation was awarded AMBA accreditation by the Association of MBAs, and became the first and only MBA programme within the French public university system to receive this unique distinction.

What are the tuition fees?

The tuition fees are 18 000 €.

What are possibilities for Scholarships or funding?

  • Scholarships are available.
    The allocation is based on merit (evaluation of the application form, test results and individual admissions interviews).
  • The French Government provides scholarships (via the local embassy) in addition to specific grants for outstanding students from emerging countries (Eiffel-Egide).
  • Those who work in France are also eligible for public grants (PARE, Fongecif).
  • French candidates whom are currently unemployed can also apply for special admissions fees.

What are the teaching languages?

The programme is delivered in English; for those who feel the need, a 3 week intensive language training in English is organised just before the beginning of the MBA classes.

Because we consider very important that our foreign students are fluent inFrench at the end of the programme, the possibility is given to our foreignparticipants to beneficiate of the intensive training in French, as well as 2 extra hours of French language classes per week throughout the academic year.

The participants can also use the Multimedia Lab which is equipped with 10 self-service personal computers offering interactive multimedia teaching programs (mostly English lessons).

What is the GMAT required score?

GMAT is compulsary. However the scores are taken into consideration according to the background and the profile of the applicant.  The minimum score accepted is around 500.

This test is one of the elements of the admission process which is also based on the following:

  • The quality of your application
  • Your English proficiency results [TOEFL ou TOEIC]
  • Your interview

Is this MBA programme recognised in France?

Participants successfully completing the Change & Innovation programme will also receive the Master’s in General Management delivered by the French University Ministry.
